Fantasy Appliance: Olive Oil Container Progress
I've begun working on tracing and coloring my oil container in Illustrator. At the top you can see some experimental brush strokes. I plan to combine this with a flower that hummingbirds drink nectar from and create a fantasy carnivorous plant.
Sylvia, your oil container is lovely. Your idea of combining it with flowers and creating a carnivorous plant is so creative! Will you also include a hummingbird or sort of leave an illusion? I think either would be successful! I really like your experimental brush strokes at the top of the lid. I think your line choice is very unique, and it would be awesome to have that brush stroke effect repeated as you continue this work.

The olive oil container is beautiful! I love the way you depicted the glass so you could tell it was se through. If I were to add a suggestion I would say it might be cool if you incorporated the reflections so we could really tell it was glass, but other than that I think what you have is awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the shape of the object you've chosen and the idea you will combine it with! Can't wait to see how it turns out. I think the transparency of the glass parts was a smart choice, I think it could be improved with some highlights to show the curves.
