I think you’ve destroyed this perfectly!! You can still tell what is going on without worrying about copyright, plus, you’ve got a fun variety of iterations!!
Sylvia, these turned out so well! It was really fun getting to see all of your different iterations and how you got there. Your process is very informative of your style. I would have never imaged all of amazing the directions you took! I especially love that you challenged the border of the image. It's hard to think outside of the box as far as page edges go in Photoshop. You really took it to the next level!
Almost finished with my Fantasy Appliance! I am still not convinced that the white outline around the hummingbird and oil container is the best, but I will continue thinking about it and editing it.
I started this project by taking pictures of myself about every hour - not the most fun task taking unflattering, head-on photos, but once I started collaging them together it started looking less weird. Here are the first two, these are mostly experimental but I may use them if they work well. The first is 7am and the second is 8am. Also, I have decided that the printed book will be small - 6 x 6 inches.
I took some pictures of my statue to play with in Photoshop. I considered adding a ton more mirror shards to the statue itself, but decided it was time to start incorporating digital imaging into the piece.
